Frequently Asked Questions
What is Startin?
We are a non-profit foundation with a clear purpose: to foster innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems through education.
We face an urgent challenge: digital talent from Colombia and Latin America is migrating to foreign companies, while many communities with great potential remain disconnected from the knowledge and tools that could transform their opportunities.
At Startin, we work to democratize access to technology and generative artificial intelligence by bringing collaboration tools and AI to public educational institutions at no cost. We handle the entire technical process—from managing educational domains and creating accounts to designing training pathways for teachers, students, and families—fully supporting the transformation of each community.
Thanks to partnerships with local governments, private companies, and public entities, we generate synergies that integrate connectivity, devices, training, and social commitment. We firmly believe that every community can lead its own development.
In a world dominated by TikTokers and influencers, we train #Starters: people who don’t wait for change… they make it happen!
What is a Starter?
A Starter is someone who doesn’t wait for things to happen—they make them happen.
They turn curiosity into action, ideas into projects, and talent into impact.
A Starter doesn’t seek to be followed—they seek to drive change.
They’re not satisfied with just learning—they’re committed to transforming.
They create opportunities, build community, and activate the future.
Is there any cost for educational institutions?
No. The entire process—including licensing, technological setup, and training—is completely free for educational institutions.
